A non-surgical facelift combines treatments to lift, tighten and contour the face. This includes:
- Full-face resurfacing – A single, more intensive procedure with around two weeks of downtime.
- CO₂ Fraxel – 1–2 treatments spaced a month apart for deeper rejuvenation.
- Erbium Fraxel – 3–5 treatments, also spaced monthly, ideal for improving texture, fine lines, and overall brightness.
Over time, these laser treatments can be complemented with biostimulators, bioremodelling agents, fillers, and other cosmetic injectables. These additional treatments aren’t required but can help maintain results, support collagen production, and enhance overall facial contouring as part of a longer-term rejuvenation plan.
How these procedures can help:
- Lifting sagging cheeks
- Tightening the jawline
- Smoothing fine lines
- Improving overall skin firmness
- Restoring natural facial contours
With a non-surgical facelift, most patients achieve a refreshed and lifted appearance with minimal discomfort and little-to-no downtime, making it a popular choice for those wanting natural-looking results.
Your treatment begins with a thorough consultation with our dermatologist, Dr Terence Poon or our cosmetic physician, Dr Marianne Nolan. We discuss your goals, assess your skin, and determine the best approach for you.
Depending on the treatment plan, your non-surgical facelift may involve:
- Full face resurfacing
- CO2 Fraxel
- Erbium Fraxel
Preparing for your non-surgical facelift is simple:
- Avoid sun exposure and tanning for 1-2 weeks before treatment
- Pause active skincare (retinol, AHAs, BHAs) 3-5 days prior
- Stay hydrated
- Inform us if you have any recent cosmetic procedures
Your dermatologist will guide you through any additional preparation that’s necessary as per your specific treatment plan.
One of the advantages of a non-surgical facelift is that most treatments involve minimal downtime.
For lighter treatments such as CO₂ Fraxel and Erbium Fraxel:
- Mild redness or warmth for a few hours
- Avoid high-heat environments (saunas, hot yoga/pilates) for 24–48 hours
- Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours
- Use gentle skincare for several days
- Apply SPF daily
For full face resurfacing:
- Expect 10–14 days of downtime
- Redness, peeling and sensitivity are normal during healing
- Follow the personalised aftercare plan from your dermatologist (including specific cleansing, moisturising, and sun-avoidance steps)
- Avoid makeup until your doctor advises it’s safe to resume
- Strict, daily SPF is essential during healing and beyond
Regardless of the treatment combination, your results will develop gradually as fresh collagen forms. Many people notice early improvements within a few weeks, with full results appearing around 8–12 weeks.
Before going ahead with a non-surgical facelift, patients are required to have a consultation with one of our doctors. This gives us the chance to understand what you're hoping to achieve and create a personalised plan designed to deliver the best possible results for you.
To book your consult, phone our receptionists or book via HotDocs.
- No surgery or invasive procedures
- Safe for most skin types
- Natural-looking lift and definition
- Gradual, long-lasting improvements
- Cost-effective compared to traditional surgery

What is a non-surgical facelift?
Also known as a liquid facelift, a non-surgical facelift uses non-invasive treatments such as ultrasound, radiofrequency, lasers, and injectable support to lift and tighten the skin without surgery.
How long do non-surgical face lift results last?
Non-surgical face lifts are not permanent, with results typically lasting 12-24 months depending on the treatment and your skin’s natural ageing. Maintenance sessions can make your results last longer.
Is a non-surgical facelift as effective as surgery?
While results are not as dramatic as surgical lifting, many patients prefer the natural, subtle refresh and minimal downtime of a non-invasive face lift.
What is the best non-surgical facelift option?
It depends on your age, skin, and goals. Our doctors will recommend the best option after meeting with you for a consultation.
Is a non-surgical facelift suitable for everyone?
Most people with mild to moderate skin looseness are good candidates. Severe sagging may require surgical options, and we will provide honest guidance on what is best for you and your goals.
